She was trained by master instructor Peggy Lenz and has had lessons, schooling and clinics with dozens of trainers and instructors, including Bernie Traurig, Holly Hugo-Vidal, Caroline Invicta Stevenson, and Frank Madden among others.
Lauren Meske
Lauren is a fun, energetic and patient teacher who brings more than just hunt seat experience to Red Sky Farm. She's mellow and has a lot of information about everything horse!
Our Lesson Horses
Pippin is a quirky, funny TB gelding who paid his dues on the race track before coming to Red Sky Farm. He is owned by Lanie Whelpley, who graciously allows us to use him for lessons. He is very, very safe for small, young or beginner riders and will trot quietly around the ring for hours or trot through a gymnastic and a cross rail smoothly and softly. He can also pack a rider around at 2'3 with lead changes, or move it up a notch and do some jumper turns at 3'.
Dunkin is a well-rounded former ranch gelding who has learned to jump small courses. He is reliable and simple for riders of all ages and levels. He also loves root beer-flavored hard candies!
Picasso
Picasso (or Pico) is a teenager making a comeback as a lesson horse. He's handsome, very well broke, and a gentleman.
